It is considerably delayed to implement the New Pass Rules to the Railwaymen by the Railway Board, wherein 6TH PC recommendations were implemented for more than one year now. It would be good if First Class Pass eligibility is given for Grade Pay 2400 onwards, irrespective of date of appointment.

If free telephones were given to the telephone employees during Ram Bilas Paswan why not 1st class pass to all Rly employees those are working so hard for the developement of Rly. The persons going line duty should definitely get this previllage

As the authority who will decide the new pass rule they are all entitled to enjoy the benefit of 1st class pass. Hence the union as well as the empoyer are reluctant to issue new pass rule.

it is learnt that new pass rules are still under consideration in Board office. may take some time because every 6500-10500 scale has not been 4600 g.p in 6th CPC. It is for sure that g.p 4200 will not be getting 1st class green pass. some basic pay (approx 17000 including g.p) will be fixed for those in 4200 and for all in 4600.
