There must be a fair & healthy comparison between pay scales and perquisites in Government and the public/private sector since, the educational qualifications, quantum of work, skills and talents are almost similar for all jobs.

In my personal opinion there should be a national pay scale without any discrimination but perks/packages may differ as the situation demands. There is no question of comparision/parity between pay scalesand perquisites in Government and the public/private sectors. Because private/public sectors aim and object is totally commercial & working with an intention of profit.
