We the undersigned working under WPO/KGP Workshop/S.E Railway/Kharagpur, beg to state that thefollowing few lines for Your justification and clarification.
We were holding the post of Jr.Clerk in scale of Rs.3050/- to 4590/- and got the promotion on 13.09.2008 as a Sr.Clerk in scale of Rs. 4500/- to 7000/-. Our pay has been fixed in 6th pay com on Rs. 9730/- ( pay Rs. 6930+GradePay Rs.2800 ) in PB Rs.5200-20200. Where as the Entry Grade Of Sr. Clerk in the 6th pay com is Rs. 8370/- +Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- = Rs. 11170/-.
Hence , we the undersigned are requesting you with folded hands kindly look into the matter and issue necessary orders so that we can get the salary at per entry grade of pay of Sr.Clerk and great monetary lose.

Hd.Typist's pay is equal head clerk Gr.pay 4200 why not Sr.Typist's Gr.pay 2400 is not equal to Sr.Clerk i.e. Gr.Pay 2800

this is a big issue. this should be claim at high court. as i think the 6th pay commission had not taken care about the promotion pay. there should be correction in 6th PC.
