6th Pay Commission Articles
1: Group B Status to PB-2 Employee
SCPC has recommended abolition of Gr D category and proposed upgradation for Supervisor in PB-2 into Group B. As per DOPT Gazette notification no.605 date 9 April 2009, most of the cenrtal Govt employee in PB-2 have been classified as Group B i.e. GP-4200 Gr B non gazzeted & GP-4600 & above Gr B gazzeted. Railway has not followed the SCPC recommendation this time also regarding Gr B status. Why? Who is restricted to this & what is their motto to keep us in Gr C with Gr D employee.Who is responsible for our degradation.Kindly disclose & invite views of employee. Er. A K Tyagi, JE-I/NCR/JHS
2: pay fixation
R/sir,I am working as a locopilot mail at SBC swrly.I was locopilot pass on 1.1.2006 basic pay 6025/- date of increment July 2006,promoted as loco pilot pass Gr. II on 06-10-2006 date of inc Jul 2007 basic pay 6380/- promoted as loco pilot mail on 11-03-2009 basic pay 19110/-(6cpc)kindly find out wheather pay fixation done is right,i did not get the addl increment on any oromotion causing juniors drawing more pay than me.please do the needful.with regards.lldongre7@gmail.com

Is the fixation of pay correct?

when new pass rules will be declared by rly. till then can anyone take 1st class pass on account of 5th pc
5: Stenographers
About the injustice done to the Stenographer category by V PC and now even though the VI PC recoommends some thing for Stenographers the govt. / Ministeries not yet considered.
6: arreas for apprentices
As per 6h pay commission all railway employees are getting arrears whereas i joined railways on 20/01/07 as an Apprentice JE-II/Sig./BCT & got posted on 24/09/08 but i am not getting any 6TH pay commission arrears.Please advice whether i am entiteled for the 6th pay commission arrears or not.Thanks.

What is rule for a permanent railway employee goes for apprenticeship to get sixth pay commission arrears.

9: Revision of hourly rates of incentive bonus and bonus factor
Vide Board's letter under reference, the revised hourly rates of incentive bonus and bonus factor of workshops / PUs were advised to the Railways. Some of the Railways have sought certain clarifications regarding implementation of above instructions. The details of issues raised the clarifications are given below:
10: Clarification on Children Education Allowance / Hostel Subsidy
"Reimbursement will be applicable for expenditure on the education of school going children only i.e. for children from classes nursery to twelfth including classes eleventh and twelfth held by junior colleges or schools affiliated to Universities or Board of Education".
